bye bye Lisboa

This series was painted from live at the Santo Antonio festivities in 2012, in the Alfama neighborhood, in Lisbon.
After the night party, the streets were semi-deserted. It was hot. The garlands sparkled.

In 2013, with the help of Fernando Veiras, I made an installation in  Convento das Monicas with these same garlands. A farewell to the city and a kind of fiesta finale: bye bye Lisboa!
